Weekly Challenge #204: "Valentangle"

this morning i was using a heart-string with my 2 students. at home i coloured the tile:-), and now this tile fits totally for the weekly challenge.

below you see the card i made for my most special aunt, the sister of my mother, her birthday is just one day after valentin's. i think she's a fan of my art, and i am a fan of her life-friendly happyness.

das sind bijou-tiles, und wie ihr seht waren wir nur zu dritt..

wie ich schon im vorigen post erwähnt habe: diese woche bin ich vom VALENTINSTAG (14. feb.) inspiriert, HERZ als flächenteiler.....die tiles (8,9mal 8,9 cm) konnten wir zeitlich nicht im kurs fertig machen:

hier seht ihr eine zwischenphase......und dann das fertige tile.

MUSTER MIXER #3

Die muster für diesen monat sind: Cadent und Buttercup.

es war eine ziemliche herausforderung. ich zeichne cadent sehr gerne, finde es aber immer schwierig zu integrieren. buttercup gefällt mir auch......und jetzt nach dem ersten tile bin ich motiviert für ein nächstes tile mit diesen beiden mustern. aber dieses musste ich mit farbe (caran d'ache retten).

ihr hört es raus,es war nicht meditativ für mich.das gute daran ist dass das verständnis für ungeübte zeichnerinnen sofort aufgefrischt ist. 

diese woche basiert bei mir alles auf herzflächenteiler:14. februar ist valentinstag:-)

I really enjoyed this tangle. I found it very relaxing, and it's a no-brainer. you don't have to really think about 'steps' you can really zone out. that's what laura harms said and experienced, i would explain it the same way.

also on the next lile i first made pattern-strings with the pencil.

the finished tile reminds me totally of thailand. my own time there, but also the day when i was in gambia and i heard about the tsunami there (about 8 years ago).
